Oracle Portal Developer/Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Experience using TIDAL Job Scheduler to create
scripts for transferring information to and from an
Oracle Portal environment and scheduling jobs.
Experience with using WorkDynamics
ccmMercury Correspondence Tracking Software
integrated to an Oracle Portal Environment.
Experience in using Oracle Portal Transport sets
in a 10g environment..
Experience in developing Web-based applications
for a NYS Government Agency that meets NYS
Accessibility Policy
(http://www.oft.state.ny.us/Policy/p04-
002/index.htm).
Experience in using AJAX and XML to develop
web-based applications.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
1. A minimum of 4 years experience
providing technical leadership and
hands-on development with Oracle
Portal Content Management System (9i
or higher) to develop Web sites and
Web-based applications, including
extensive experience and understanding
of Oracle Portal’s Administrative
components.
2. A minimum of 4 years experience in
logical database design and modeling,
incorporating data normalization and
referential integrity enforcement
techniques.
3. A minimum of 4 years experience
creating and using procedures, views,
and functions to support application
development.
4, A minimum of 4 years experience
with the following: HTML, Javascript,
SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting
(ksh, csh or perl ),.
